Job loss epidemic?

The COVID-19 pandemic has been devastating for South Africa’s economy, leaving millions of people without jobs or income. But there is hope on the horizon: the vaccine rollout is gaining momentum, and the government has announced a stimulus package to boost recovery. However, these measures are not enough to address the deep-rooted structural problems that plague our labour market. We need more than a vaccine; we need a comprehensive plan to create more opportunities, skills, and support for our workforce. We need a shot in the arm for our job loss epidemic.
