- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recordedÂ
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoicesÂ
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliationsÂ
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelinesÂ
- Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assignedÂ
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when neededÂ
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reportsÂ
- Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closingsÂ
- Assist with other accounting projectsÂ
- Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
- Great attention to detailÂ
- Exceptional organisational skillsÂ
- Good interpersonal skillsÂ
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practicesÂ
- Outstanding mathematical skillsÂ
- Critical thinking
- Experience working in a finance environment.Â
- Experience in preparing accurate financial statementsÂ
- Excellent UK accounting knowledgeÂ
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software
- Degree in accounting, business, economics, finance Â
