The Opportunity
As a key team member of the PDI Security Solutions Territory Management team, you are an integral part of the customer experience. The PDI Security Area Sales Executive, or ASM, proactively markets to and solicits new logo sales while supporting inbound sales referrals within a defined North American Territory (NAT). The ASM is required to produce new revenue from their assigned NAT through both selling new accounts and upselling existing/assigned accounts. The PDI Security ASM works to increase overall revenue by leveraging marketing assets, brokering onsite meetings, and managing the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
Demonstrate superior relationship building and communication skills to acquire new greenfield logos
Ability to work reactively with accounts that require transactional sales
Ability to gain access to key decision makers or influencers while developing strong client relationships at the executive level
Ability to develop, execute and modify a strategic marketing plan to broker greenfield meetings
Frequent face-to-face visits with clients to better understand their business needs and offer solutions based on PDI Security products and services
Ability to be conversational on most PDI Security solutions and to know when to engage Solutions support team
Meet and exceed annual revenue quota from accounts within the assigned North American territory
Qualifications
3 -5 years of quota-based sales experience with verifiable results
Hunter mentality to sell across all verticals and view the territory as opportunity
Ability to work independently in an assigned territory to increase revenue through new logo and transactional sales
Technical aptitude with insight into when to engage Solutions resources
Superior organizational and communication skills.
Flexibility and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and outstanding follow up skills.
